Jason and I, (Danielle), have been married 25 years now. We have three beautiful children who have been phenomenal in helping us work towards turning an idea into a reality.

As my oldest daughter and I were planning her wedding, she suggested that her dad's work barn become an event barn. Being that this view is too gorgeous to enjoy alone, her dad and I agreed that it was a great idea and should be implemented.

Although Jason has taken on the lions share of the work, it has truly been a family affair as we all have helped him out as best we could. All the wood that was used in the barn, Jason put through our sawmill. When his sawmill wasn't long enough for a 26' beam, he dismantled it and welded on 10 extra feet. For the 6"x10" beam trusses he cut steel and welded his own brackets and plates. Each beam took 176 lag screws to form the trusses. These trusses were set in place piece by piece with only a man lift. Needless to say, I cleared out Tractor Supply's lag screws in 3 counties. Sorry, and thank you to all who had to wait for another shipment.

From framing, trimming, roofing, insulation, staining, painting, sanding, gardening, milling, welding, and foundation work, etc. other than a little help here and there from some amazing friends and family, most all work has been done by the 5 of us. However, none of this could have been accomplished without Jason's skills as an engineer, architect, and builder, learned through years of experience in the trade. His creativity and drive never ceases to amaze me!

We hope that all who come out for a visit can enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the hard work that our family has put in to make your event a one-of-a-kind experience!

We hope you enjoy the pictures that show the progression of this build. I will continue to add more as we finish new projects. We hope that all our ideas will add to your experience, but if you have any thoughts as well, let us know and we will try our best to make your dreams a reality too!

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!
